Vitruvian man

The Vitruvian man is a drawing created by Leonardo da Vinci. He wanted to prove the perfectly proportioned man. The drawing is based on the correlations of ideal human proportions with geometry, It is a male figure in two superimposed positions inscribed in a circle and in a square. It is accompanied by notes based on the work of Vitrivius (a Roman architect).
