Lollipopman

lollipopman

Crossing guards are known by a variety of names, the most widely used is "lollipop lady or lollipop man", it's a reference to the large signs used that look like lollipops.
A crossing guard (in United States and Canada) or a school crossing patrol officer (in the United Kingdom) is a traffic management specialist. It's often associated with elementary school children. Lollipop men temporarily stop the flow of traffic in front of schools, so pedestrians (usualy children) may cross an intersection.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
