Astronaut

An astronaut is a person trained to command, pilot or serve a crew member of a spacecraft. They do very hard trainings and they need to accumulate a huge number of flight hours. Astronauts may have health risks like: loss of bone and muscle, sleep disturbances, radiation injury...
Until 2002, astronauts were sponsored by governments, later on some commercial astronauts appeared.
Yuri Gagarin was the first human to travel in space on April 12, 1961 aboard Vostok1.
Neil Alden Amstrong was the first person to set foot upon the Moon in 1969.
